International Women’s Day: SPARK Award Winner Griselda Dominguez

There are so many ways an employee can make a positive difference in the workplace. However, there’s something special about an individual who leads with their heart and inspires their coworkers and community while doing it.

As we celebrate International Women’s Day, it would be a missed opportunity to not spotlight Griselda Dominguez, a 2025 Spark Awards recipient and someone who so clearly embodies Amway’s pillar of service.

Business System Analyst Griselda has been at Amway for the past 18 years. She started her career working on the floor of the Nutrilite Facility Warehouse. Later, she transitioned to the regional service center in California to learn the intricacies of a new warehouse system, while training Amway employees in her first language of Spanish. As a crew leader, she worked tirelessly to ensure that every employee felt supported and valued at work.

Throughout her career at Amway, Griselda has played a key role in significant business operations. She was instrumental in deploying Amway’s operations in Argentina and Colombia. Griselda has traveled abroad to meet new team members, connecting with and advocating for them as they navigated their new roles. Without a doubt, Griselda has become an invaluable part of Amway and is admired and respected by everyone she works with. And, her “lead with heart” mentality is in no way restricted to just the company itself.

Griselda’s compassionate leadership at Amway has helped benefit the entire community of Buena Park. Through her influence and her work with the Orangewood Foundation – a local nonprofit that provides services to young adults facing homelessness or housing insecurity – Griselda has inspired dozens of Amway employees to give back to their city. She has fostered a long lasting, successful partnership between the Foundation and Amway’s Santa Fe Springs team, bridging the gap between a community need and the resources to help address it.

Through her ability to see the value in others, Griselda has helped so many people less fortunate than herself. Simultaneously, it has also helped the people around her recognize the qualities and skills they possess and has empowered them to share it with those who would benefit from it. From volunteer shifts to big events, Griselda’s commitment to Orangewood has changed countless lives for the better, including the lives of her coworkers at Amway. 

Griselda’s guiding mission is influenced by the lessons her parents instilled in her – to always give back. For truly living and embodying this goal, she was presented with the Amway SPARK program’s Sterling Award which celebrates the hard work, dedication and amazing contributions Amway employees make to the world.
